Privacy Policy

Effective October 4, 2026. O'Hara Where to Watch is operated by Brad O'Hara.

Data we process and why

For each requested availability lookup, we process the movie or TV title, optional release year and media type, and selected country (US, GB, or CA). We use these inputs only to identify the title and return viewing options. We do not request your name, precise location, full conversation history, payment details, or streaming-service credentials.

Our hosting provider, Vercel, processes technical request data such as IP addresses, request times, requested paths, response status, and client information to deliver and protect the service. Application logs contain operational metadata such as tool name, success or failure, latency, provider, and error code. We do not intentionally log lookup titles, full prompts, API keys, or streaming-account credentials.

If you email support, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. We use this information to answer your request. Please do not send passwords, API keys, payment details, or other sensitive information.

Recipients

Vercel hosts the website and MCP server. Watchmode receives lookup inputs needed to find the title and availability; we do not forward your chat history or client IP address to Watchmode. Lookup results are returned to the requesting client, including ChatGPT when you use the plugin there. Your email provider and ours process support correspondence. We do not sell lookup data or use it for advertising or behavioral profiling.

Retention

Lookup inputs and results are processed for the request and are not saved in an application database or persistent cache. Vercel runtime logs on our current Hobby hosting plan are retained for up to one hour. We do not export those logs to a separate logging service. Vercel may separately retain infrastructure and security records under its own policies.

Support correspondence is deleted within 30 days after the issue is resolved, unless retention is required by law. Watchmode, Vercel, your email provider, and the requesting client manage their own records under their respective privacy policies. ChatGPT conversation storage and deletion are controlled through your OpenAI account settings.

Your controls

You can stop sending requests or disconnect the plugin at any time. Contact brad.j.ohara@gmail.com to request access, correction, or deletion of support information we retain. There is no stored lookup-history account to delete on our server. You can delete ChatGPT conversations through ChatGPT; requests concerning a third party's independent records should be directed to that party.

Third-party services

Streaming availability data is provided by Watchmode. API credentials remain server-side and are not returned to users. Opening a viewing-provider link takes you to that provider's website, where its privacy policy applies. This plugin does not access streaming accounts, play or download content, or make purchases.

See the Watchmode privacy policy, Vercel privacy policy, and OpenAI privacy policy for their independent practices.
